Hi, I'm Cibele Rosen,

A Pediatric Sleep Specialist, Parent Educator, and the proud founder of MATERNA VITA, which I started in January 2019. My passion is helping families—whether you have a newborn, toddler, preschooler, or teen—find the peaceful, restful sleep you all deserve, without ever resorting to sleep training.


Originally from Brazil and Portugal, I became a mother while living for 10 years in China—an experience that opened my eyes to the unique challenges of parenting in a different culture. Today, I’m based in Toronto, Canada, where I continue to support families worldwide on their journey toward better sleep and stronger connections.

My work is rooted in years of training and experience. I’m certified as an Integrative Pediatric Sleep Specialist and Parent Educator in Integrative Childhood Health™ by the Family Wellness International Institute (USA), where, as an instructor, I have the honour to train new professionals. I’ve earned additional certifications in Positive Discipline (PDA), Mother-Child Integrative Systemic Care, and Integrative Maternal Therapy, providing me with a deep understanding of child development and pre- and perinatal care. I also volunteered my time at La Leche League Shanghai for 4 years supporting mothers and their families on their breastfeeding journey.


My immersion into this field began with my personal experiences as a parent in a multicultural family. As a global citizen, having lived on four continents and worked with families from over 26 countries, I’ve seen how cultural norms and societal expectations shape parenting and sleep practices. These experiences fuel my commitment to offering a compassionate, research-based approach that goes beyond bedtime routines.Together, we’ll uncover the root causes of sleep challenges, nurture healthy sleep, and strengthen your family’s bonds—while preserving everyone’s mental well-being.

My Approach: Integrative Pediatric Sleep Health™

It is an integrative and multidisciplinary approach that improves the quality of children’s and families’ sleep without relying on abandonment techniques or sleep training.


I believe that every family’s sleep journey is unique, and my mission is to help you uncover the root causes of your child’s sleep challenges. Whether they are physical, physiological, emotional, neurological, or behavioral, I’ll work with you to understand how each part of your family’s life plays a role in sleep. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that respects your child’s natural rhythms, nurtures your family’s mental health, and strengthens the connections between you. If needed, I’ll also connect you with trusted healthcare professionals for extra support along the way.

My approach is based on the latest research in neuroscience, attachment theory, anthropology, and child development. I’ll guide you through each step of the process, empowering you with the knowledge and tools you need to confidently address current sleep challenges, navigate inevitable changes, and create lasting harmony in your family’s sleep routine.
